Why is natural soap so expensive?!
Because cold/hot process soaps are so expensive because of the ingredients used and the time it takes to make it. We do not make melt and pour. We hand select all of the ingredients and formulate our own recipes.
How long does it take to make soap?
It typically takes 1-2 hours from start to finish to make the loaf of soap BUT it will have to sit for a minimum of 4-6 weeks before it can sold.
Does this soap contain glycerin?
YES! all cold/hot process soap contain glycerin. It's produced during saponification.
How do I get the most out of my soap?
There are a few ways you can extend the life of your soap. Natural soap does not contain the chemical that prevents it from melting so to extend the life of your bar, you should do the following:
- allow your soap to completely dry out between uses.
- do not leave your soap in the direct path of streaming water.
- do not allow your soap to sit in water.
- use a soap dish that has drainage holes on the bottom.
- use a soap saver.
